Sailing is the heart and soul of our club, we encourage all members to participate. Our unique location and history makes OSYC the ideal place for both new and experienced sailors of all ages. Our club hosts a convenient mast up storage for beach catamarans and a sandy sheltered beach to launch.
About the Ocean Springs Sailing Squadron
The Ocean Springs Sailing Squadron (OSSS) is a nonprofit sailing charity dedicated to making the joys of sailing accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. While closely associated with the Ocean Springs Yacht Club (OSYC) the Ocean Springs Sailing Squadron operates independently to promote community engagement through educational programs youth camps and sailing events.
The OSYC provides a supportive home base sharing resources and facilities but the OSSS focuses specifically on fostering a love for sailing and providing opportunities for learning and participation regardless of financial means. Together they create a vibrant sailing community in Ocean Springs uniting passion for the sport with a mission to give back.
